Bhojpuri films industry produced its first movie in 1962 with title Ganga Maiyya Tohe Piyari Chadhaibowhich was directed by Kundan Kumar. After that a series of meaningful films are made by this industry. But after that it was under a decade long hibernation. Recently a new trend to make bhojpuri films is in fashion. A numbers of peoples are trying their hand with this ‘golden-egg laying hen’ that’s why the technically these movies are quite good but quality was they stay no where with their old counterparts.
I would love to share some songs of those golden oldies with all of you. In this series, the first film will be ‘balam pardeshiya’. Balam Pardesia was released in 1979 directed by Nazir Hussain Nazir Hussain. Songs of this movie are sung by Md. Rafi and Asha Bhoshale . Music director was Chitragupt while songs were written by Anjaan and Shailendra .
